Educare

The toddlers busy learning about road construction at the moment. On their way to the centre they are seeing the construction workers doing their mahi. This has sparked a real interest for the tamariki

There is so many ways you can use a crane. I think Olivia may have seen a crane lifting up a car on her way to Educare one day.

Out in the play ground we have equipment that the children are able to challenge themselves with. Be it their upper body strength or their agility to swing their legs up on the parallel bars.

How amazing in an industrial area we are still able to find beautiful insects, this would be due to the fact that we have encouraged them to come to the centre with all our beautiful potted plants. Bryah is fascinated with her fiend the praying mantis.
The natural environment has made its way inside to the science area, and the children`s minds are free flowing with ideas.

Spot of fishing anyone, the boys have made a game out of the fishing rods and the fish that we made before lock down.

Listening to them, they had a competition to see how many they could catch. What a great way to encourage math`s in thier play.
